There are a list of training providers on the NCH website
http://www.hypnotherapists.org.uk/training/default.asp
All provide the HPD, which is an NVQ level 4 diploma accredited by the NCFE.
I would highly recomend this level of qualification, particularly as you
want to specialise in weight loss, which as every therapist will tell you is
rarely just about food and more about emotional and psychological health.

Hi!

Well I am a 'newbie' on here and a 'newbie' to Hypnotherapy.
The reason I have joined is because I want to make a career of
Hypnotherapy.
I have recently lost 5 stone and want to specialise in Weight Loss.

I am in Hampshire.

There are so many courses but unsure where to go.

Hi everyone

I've been working as a hypnotherapist for about 4 years now. I qualified
with the Northern College of Therapeutic Hypnosis in Leicester, and now I
work at a therapy centre in Towcester, Northamptonshire.

I see about 4 clients a week, and so I also work as a music teacher in
the area. Music is my hobby too, and I play in a variety of bands.

I am always on the lookout to improve my technique as a hypnotherapist,
and so I'll be interested to read what other members have to say.
