Re: [hydrocephalus] my son is 6 months, diagnosed with hydrocephalus

Hey Guys
Anything you want to know just tell me my daughter was 6mos when shunted NOW 10yrs old we were told no heavyweight boxing or parachuting I can live with that :) she has had no revisions and we see the neuro twice a yr.  Last Aug 2004 she had a rupture appendix which the shunt is on the same side we almost then had to have a replaced one if it had been inflected due to the appendix Thank God it was not and we didnt need a second operation

He will be having a shunt put in on tuesday. My wife and I are
wondering if anyone knows of any famous people who have had this. We
would also like to know if there are a set of activities that he will
never be able to do, the doctor ruled out football. She is worried to
death and I'm just trying to gather information, we just found out 4
days ago and don't know a lot about it. If you can help please email me
