Hi there Christelle!
My name is Bianca. I have had a shunt since I was 3 months old (I'm now 25) I had several shunt revisions as an infant / toddler b/c of  complications, but I was fine from age 3 on....Anyways the only issues I had whih you might want to know about /expect: 
  I wasnt allowed to place contact sports in school

  I see a neurosurgeon 2x a yr (sometimes once a yr but growing up it was 2x)  & get a CT scan done each visit (**Be sure your health insurance will cover this)

  Other then that I think I'm more or less normal :)
