Hi, I am new to this group. I was decompressed(for Chiari Malformation) in 1-08.
Then in April I had a VP shunt put in for hydro-PCT. I had a shunt replacement
on Oct. 15th, because it had shut down and clogged up. Then 2 weeks later it was
bad again. So on Oct.2nd, my NS replaced it again. I am still not feeling well
at all. After the first replacement, I felt a difference immediately. This time
is awful. Could it be because it is sooooo close together? Or could it be it is
not working right again? Any help would be apprecciatted, please. How many
shunts have you had replaced? Thanks for all your help. Good day, Erin
