After the first craniotomy with aspiration I had a open ventriculostomy, then the shunt. 3 months total time for all of this. Revision in 2002. I have adhesions in my head and abdomen(painfull) and have headaches all night. Can't lay on the shunt side of my head, never have been able to. Wondering if anyone else here has the adhesions? I know the migraines are common. Diane
