Hi Sean I just want to clear up some misunderstandings. Nobody knew I had hydrocephalus until I was about 20. I was having hospital tests for a gynae problem( in 1982) when it was discovered that what I had was in fact hydrocephalus! Once I had had my first shunt my gynae problem cleared up.
I hope that clear now, best wishes Mags.

Hey Sean -Yeah, congenital means you're born with it.If I've read Mags' intro properly, she didn't say she only had it since she was 20; she said, she's only known she's had it since she was 20.Mags, am I right in assuming that you were shunted as a baby - and had no problems for twenty years? I would guess your parents felt like "if the 'fix' ain't broke, don't tell Mags it needed fixin'.... "?Like duh, I'm gapped out again. Sorry.
