I have hydrocephalus from a cyst filled with cranial fluid. I do not have a shunt and am 64 years old. The condition is called porencephaly. I have researched and e-mailed institutions about my condition. It is a very large cyst and has diestroyed part of my brain. I don`t know why I am not retarded or in a wheelchair, nor do the doctors.
