I will pray that you will be given strength during this difficult time. It is never easy for a parent to let their child go into surgery especially this kind of surgery. The only thing you can do is have faith and be strong.
May God be with you
Blessings

idea what is about to happen but I know in my heart this is the best
christmas present I can give him. I am going through the usual doubts
but I know God is driving this wagon now - I am just along for the
ride. He will be going into surgery at 7:30 am on the 18th and should
last about 7 hours a second for him and an eternity for me. My mom
will be there but she gets so upset and only adds to the stress. I
know she means well and this time a friend of mine from dallas will be
there. I know he is strong enough to help me get through it and share
his physical strength. God will carry through the darkest hours until
I get the call telling me to meet them at the PICU because he is being
brought up. They will be removing a band of bone from his skull to
bring down the height and take off a lot of the weight. They will
remove fluid from his ventricles and then take out the bone
accordingly.
