Re: [hydrocephalus] Headaches

I can completely sympathize with you.  I am 32 and have had congenital hydrocephalus for those 32 years.  My parents were stumped as to what to do for me when I would get those headaches.  Especially if they were nauseating.  I tried resting as much as possible when I got them and I would take a break from homework or watching television for a while.  Unfortunately, I don't have an answer for you, because I still go through the agony of those headaches once in awhile.  Most of the time it's usually during my monthly menstrual cycle.  My nuerologist has told me to just take 800 mg ibuprofen when it gets that bad.
Try to alleviate as much stress as possible too...that seems to help somewhat.

same thing everytime. "Everything is fine just go see your
nuerologist." Well honestly i am not the type of person who likes
taking medicine especially everyday and 2 or more times a day. Any
suggestions for this pain that just wont go away?
