Tammy
I to was diagnosed at birth with hydro. I was shunted at 3 days old,
the miracle is that was 40 yrs ago today. 10/08/66. I went to
regular school graduated in 1985 and now am a front desk clerk for
the Hampton Inn. I had the VP shunt and until i was 12 i had regular
revisions. I look fairly normal i drive a car I just dont have good
balance when it comes to standing on one foot.
oh yea, let her to some degree be a kid..I mean my folks put me in
the "plastic bubble" and i had no childhood. I felt like a china
doll,i was ok to admire but you couldnt play with me for fear my
shunt would come loose.
