We are not that far from each other. I am just north of Asheville.
About 30 minutes from the TN line.
I only found out about having hydro 3 years ago when I started having
complications. Laura knows my story. I had a brain tumor at 8y/o and
did not get meds to keep the swelling down after surgery. I was shunted
and had corrective eye surgeries and told I was cured. I am still
learning about myself. I was working living a normal life. I bought a
home. It was all a big suprise when everything came crashing down. I
found out about my hydro after 3 surgeries and 3 neuros had given up on
me. I read hydrocephalus on my discharge paper. I had never heard the
word. I started researching and am still trying to figure things out.

I hope all is well for you. I am still fighting depression cause I dont feel "normal" I am no frankenstien but I am no Tim McGraw either so I dont do to well with the ladies and I really want a family but being in a min wage job and low self asteem I dont have much to offer someone.

My sister just moved back here from Charleston SC, She started in Charlotte and then got transfered to SC. her husband does BIG construction like stadiums and hospitals.
