I am glad to hear that you are doing so well. When you say 25 surgeries, are you including shunt revisions as well? I know at last count I had over a dozen surgeries, which include revisions. Don't remember if I said, but I am 30 years old. I was diagnosed with D.W. at one week old.
In calculating my surgeries I don't generally include circumcision, getting my wisdom teeth removed or my vasectomy. So for shunt revisions alone, they number about 28, a low number I have learned, compared to some people I've met.
