I'm 30 years old and still living with congenital hydrocephalus after having been shunted since I was six months old. I am fortunate in that I have no other major medical issues, other than recurring mental depression, but that I have learned to live with.
I was born six weeks early and did not walk until I was three because I was so small.
i thought i was a FREAK i didnt realize that so many people actually survived this kind of situation. would like to hear from my fellow peeps. If its an encouragement to anyone Im almost 40 and doing ok...other than being single.
