Hi Everyone! My name is Levonne and I'm 54 years old. This week my new
doctor, suggested that I might have Huntington's Disease, after he watched
my tremors and saw the way that I walk. He first suspected MS, but that has
already been ruled out, (so has Parkinson's Disease) so he's sending me for
more MRI's-looking for atrophy of the Causate Nucleus with "Boxcar
Ventricles", nerve conduction studies and a bone density test.
I don't know much about it, but what I've read online, scares me to pieces1
I know you can't allay my fears, I'd just like to know if anyone else is
going through this also. I have a lot of pain, especially in my spine and
down my arms and legs. I use a cane to navigate, due to balance and weakness
problems. I perspire a lot, which is very unusual. Are these some of the
symptoms?
I'm kind of "at a loss" about what to think. He said, to research
Huntington's Disease and he'd see me at the end of the month for more pain
med. He put me on Oxycontin. Can ya'll tell me what meds you take? He also
mentioned Haldol.
I appreciate any information at all.
Big Gentle Hugs,
Levonne
