Victoria, if you're at risk, you should get your insurance now, both long
term as well as life insurance. Buy the most you can afford, remembering
that if you stretch your budget now, you'll be getting annual pay raises
which will make your premiums easier as you get older. If for some reason,
you choose to get tested and find that you are gene negative, you can always
drop the insurance. Find a policy that will not drop you for any reason.
If you have a basic policy through your job that THEY pay for, find out if
you can buy more at your expense. You need to plan for an unknown future,
now.
