Hello my name is Rita and my daughter Jacquia is at risk for Hd. Her
father and 2 step-sisters have been diagnosed. She also lost her
Grandfather with HD. I don't know much about this disease or have any
support other than my family which has no idea either but we are all
determined to learn about it since we may unfortunately have to deal
with it someday like you all. As a mother of 3 this is very stressful
and scary for me to even think of. When I think of the diagnosed on
her fathers side I get extremely upset, I even have went into a
depression. I have a very difficult time with this issue and dont
know where to turn. My daughter went to a couple of support group
meeting with her father and grandmother and told me about this web
site. I figured this is my only hope of learning so please have
patience with me cause I am scared and in need of knowlege of HD.
