Thank you for meeting up with me on Friday.  I've had a think on a few of the options to help out the association, and wanted to let you know I can also be available to help with the any envelope stuffing and collating (ie. newsletters etc) as needed.  Fridays are generally good for me, though Thursdays would work well too.

 

Looking forward to getting more involved and helping out where I can.  I will be getting around a few local businesses early next week about the corks.  Can you please sent me out some HD awareness flyers that I can handout if asked what HD is by local businesses, it will be clearer than me trying to explain!

 

The website I told you about, put together by a lady called Heather Dugdale.  Heathers has HD and was also a carer for her Mother, so has a good understanding, and is very positive in her approach to awareness and education.  She has a lot of good advice for those at risk, carers, and those with HD.  Lots of simple ideas and stratagies that some people may not think of, but it all helps, and its written in plain english, easy to read and understand.
