Humor Brief
Thought you might enjoy this true, personal story from yours truly...
On a car trip from Columbus to Buffalo, I couldn't get the plastic seal off the cap of my Starbucks Frappucino while I was driving, so I asked my brother for help. He removed the seal and the cap, and then handed it back to me with the loose cap on top. Not knowing this, I shook the bottle and, in one up and down motion, emptied the entire contents on his side of the car—mostly on him.
Fortunately, he kept his sense of humor about it. In fact, we had a good laugh when my brother, an engineer by trade, expressed how impressed he was that by shaking the bottle up and down I took advantage of the liquid's intertia and Newton's 1st law of motion and emptied the bottle on him much more efficiently than if I had simply turned it upside down over his lap.
Now when something stressful occurs, we can look back and say, "Frap happens!"
