I received this request from a friend of mine. I don't know much about this.
Any help would be appreciated
Michelle McCoy

Hi Everyone- Hope you are all enjoying the summer... I am in search of
information and hope you can help. Someone I know found out yesterday they are
pregnant with twins and the twins are sharing one amniotic sac. Apparently
there is a high risk of fetal demise due to the cords being knotted,
strangulation, etc. They have given her options such as complete terminations,
selective termination, or possibly hospitalization for months for daily fetal
monitoring. This person had horrible depression after her first pregnancy, so
hospitalization is not a great option for her. If you know anyone at all who
had this (it one in like 36,000) please let me know if we could contact them to
discuss it.
She is in the process of trying to get a second opinion, etc. Please forward to
anyone who might be able to have contacts (OBs, midwifes, etc)
Thanks so much for your help,
Christine Hourihan, DC
