Open House & Free Trial Week
Drop by during one of our two OPEN HOUSE
Information Sessions:
Mon., Sept. 8th, 9:30am to 12noon for Parents and Toddlers, 1-3pm for Parents and Infants, and
Tues., Sept. 9th from 9:30am - 12 noon for Parents and Toddlers only.
Meet the staff, talk to board members and connect with other parents
while you and your child enjoy our play rooms and backyard.

welcome to visit during our FREE
TRIAL WEEK, Mon. Sept. 15th - Fri. Sept. 19th.

and art therapy activities provided.
Adoptive Families - FEE - Bi-weekly, Tuesdays, 7pm-8:30pm starting Sept. 9th. Childcare
available.
Parents of Children with Asperger's and High
Functioning Autism -- FEE - Weekly, Thursdays, 11am-12noon starting Sept. 11th, 8
sessions. $10 per session. Light refreshments. Program
held at Rockland Jewish Family Svce, JCC-Y Campus, 450 W. Nyack Rd., West Nyack.
Parents of Adolescents - FEE - Bi-weekly, Mondays or Thursdays, - 7pm - 8:30pm starting Sept. 8th.
Parenting Support Group at Nyack Head Start -- NO FEE -- Weekly - Tuesdays, 6:30pm to 8pm starting Sept. 23rd at Head Start of
Nyack. Free childcare, dinner and art therapy
activities provided.
Strengthening Families -- NO FEE -- Weekly, Wednesdays, 6pm-8:30pm, 6 sessions. A family skills program
geared for youth age 11-14, held at Nyack Middle School. Free dinner and childcare
provided. In collaboration with Nyack Center, Nyack Middle School FRC. Sponsored by
CANDLE and United Way of Rockland.

EXPECTANT PARENTS PROGRAMS

Natural Childbirth "Refresher" -- Two weeks, intensive.
Sunday, Oct. 12 & 19th, 12noon to 6pm (12 hours total).
A practical journey to learning the stages of labor and
delivery. Healthy snacks provided. $250 couples, $130
individuals.
Breastfeeding for Expecting & New Moms -- Sundays, Nov. 2nd through
Nov. 23rd, 3-5pm, 4 sessions. Meet
other moms, find support, and discuss everything from proper latch to
navigating cultural viewpoints. $160 couples, $90 individuals.
Holistic Birth Preparation Workshop -- You're Pregnant, Now
What? -- Tuesday, Oct. 28, 6:30-9:30pm. A short but informative
workshop to help you begin your own dialog toward building a family,
what to do next and more. $60 couples, $50 individual.
