Unfortunately, it is against the standard of care in our area to do a
planned vaginal breech birth (except for the second twin.) ACOG has
specifically advised against it. So that means that even good doctors,
who are very experienced with vaginal breeches, have stopped doing
them because they have absolutely no defense in court if they go
against published guidelines from their own profession.
The medical profession and patients are being held hostage by our
legal system, and women have lost their right to make their own
choices and assume their own risks. Vote carefully next year.
