I have just heard that there will be a workshop for birth
professionals given by Connect, Inc. (a non-for profit NYC
organization that supports women in crisis) on July 14 and 21
(details to follow) in midtown. One of the evenings will focus on
supporting women in birth who have an abusive or violent past, while
the other evening will concentrate on supporting women who are still
in a current abusive situation. The cost for both evenings will be
$25.
