Real Birth is a great place to take classes in Manhattan and even get the "poop" on an ob.  I know a lot of people who like the birth center at St Luke's/Roosevelt because it gives you the flexibility to birth natural with a midwife but should you need or want more intervention, your transfer is a quick elevator ride and not an ambulance or taxi!

 

Maybe that's a place to start anyway.
