We use bio-identical hormone therapy all the time, in collaboration with a
compounding
pharmacist. Many commercially available hormones are chemically different than
the ones
our body produces, so they have slightly different actions and side-effects.
Bio-identical
means that they are the exact same chemical structure as the hormones our body
makes.
It's not crazy at all!
Besides that, I would also suggest your friend look into acupuncture for her
daughter,
which is very successful in regulating hormones and bleeding issues. Both
Jillian Schwartz
and Angela Le are very experienced in this area.
And— put her on Floradix with Iron and Herbs for her anemia!!
