Hi all

First, thank you for an enchanted evening yesterday. I was so happy to meet with you all, and had a great time (worth every minute of my hour drive in each direction...).

 

I am forwarding an email I got from a woman who's looking for a doula (EDD 6/23, Yale New Haven Hospital, CT). I am now working with a client too close to that date, and my fellow CT doulas are busy too. Can anybody help?

Hi Sivan, I am looking for a birth doula for this
birth, I did not have a doula for my first, (wish I
did in hindsight!!) I had a relatively successful
hypnobirth 2 yrs. ago, but a 3 hour pushing stage
where the midwife was too loud, too barking at me to
work harder!, work harder!, etc.  which left me quite
UNrelaxed, and discouraged.  I am hoping for doula
support this time to assist me in keeping up with my
relaxation during that stage.  Rachel Bee recommended
you highly. I know it is late to be looking/asking -
so please contact me as soon as possible and let me
know if you are available, and then we can meet and/or
talk further. Also, if you are not available, maybe
