I just had a birth client sign up for my doula services, and she has been told that she only has 2 blood vessels in the umbilical cord, instead of the normal 3.  For those of you who have dealt with this, can you please tell me if this would interfere with the mom wanting to labor naturally?  Would she have to be monitored more?  I realize it depends on the OB and hospital, but any insight would be helpful.  Thanks!
