I just got a call from a client who informed me that at her prenatal visit with her midwife yesterday, the midwife did an internal and found what she thought was a hernia.  I asked her for more specifics but she couldn't remember.  She was wondering if she did have a hernia would that make labor or pushing more difficult or more painful.  I didn't have a good answer for her and said I'd ask around.  Anyone have any experience with this?  Thanks for any info you can give me.
