Folks,
I think this is a heads up for all teams traveling to Haiti and or partners coming to the US for a visit.
Whether this was a denial because Pere Soner is Haitian traveling to the US or if it is a general "guideline" by AA, I do not know.
Best check on the status of your passport and the airlines in case.

Thanks, Claire for the heads-up.

Dear All,
Just wanted to update you on recent travel issue to Haiti. In November, Pere Soner was denied boarding at the PAP airport when traveling to visit St. Andrews in Little Rock because his passport was going to expire in March '08.

I have consulted a travel agency and also checked the US State Department website - both advise that your passport not expire within 6 months of your travel date. So when planning with your mission teams, please have them doublecheck the expiration dates on their passports.
Faithfully,
Claire Barry
