Many thanks to all for your prayers during this tropical storm
season. We were fortunate enough to have very few problems here at
HSC. The hopital staff was ready and prepared for heavy flooding,
standing armed with sandbags and extra staff close by.

We received light rain on both Thursday evening and all day Friday,
but nothing damaging. As Dr. Lafontant said, this was a good
practice drill for all of us here at the hopital. We are now better
prepared for whatever hurricane season has in store for us. We feel
very fortunate here and we all must continue to pray for those who
were in the path of the storm.
