Emilie:
Katie Griggs is on "home leave" in Kansas, and is going to school this semester. She hopes to return to Leogane in January. Much depends on the political climate and the approval of the PCUSA World Ministries Division.
There is no one working as guesthouse coordinator at HSC at present.
I am not aware of mobile clinics going to HSC at this time because of concerns about safety and security in the country. We were scheduled to go in November, but have cancelled our trip. We have rescheduled for February 2006, however, we will not take a mobile team sponsored by the church until the PCUSA gives us clearance.
Cathy Speraw Dorvil is now working as Executive Director of the Children's Nutrition Program and is based in Chattanooga, TN. She made trips back to Leagone in the spring and summer, and will be going again this fall to continue to support the monitrices and the CNP in-hospital malnutrition program at HSC. You can check out the cnp website for updates: cnphaiti.org

have had no response to several emails to the guest house. I've been leading groups there
the last 2 years and am bringing another group in 2006. If anyone has been there lately or
has had contact with Katie Griggs, I would be grateful to hear from you.
