real prudence is called for at this time. there is always another time to travel. things just seem to out of control now. when i was in PAP last month, i passed through 3 checkpoints (all armed by HNP), but still, this was a first and a markedly different environment than just last March....i'm staying home for the time being.....all my contacts are advising postponment of any trravel to Haiti.....Lord help us. .jvaughn

I appreciate Tom's response and at the same time I appreciate everyone's concern for safety. At this time, I am still planning to fly to Haiti on 6/30 and provide medical care in Cap Haitien. I must trust my sources and allow God to continue to guide me. We will check with travel advisory 24 hours prior to departure.
