The Haiti Medical Mission Task Force from the First Presbyterian Church in Ann Arbor, Michigan plans to go to Leogane, Haiti to hold mobile clinics in the area surrounding Hopital Ste. Croix from October 23-31, 2004. We plan a variety of activities, including a trip to Jacmel to visit a school for disabled children and hospital in services.
Seven people have signed up for the trip but we are looking for physicians (particularly Internists and Family Practitioners), nurses, pharmacists and other health professional to fill our team out. Others interested in going are also welcomed. Everyone has something to contribute. We often have people with skill in the trades or computer knowledge, teachers, and a variety of other areas.
On our last trip in May 2004, we were pleased to have a physician from Seattle, WA, and a computer person from the Silicone Valley in CA, as guest team members. We were pleased to be able to attend to over 500 patients in the mobile clinics and emergency room at Hopital Ste. Croix.
If interested, please contact Cynthia Calhoun at cyncal@..., Robert Snyder at bobsnyder1@... (unavailable until after July 24), or Greg Grieco at gregorygrieco@....
