Jim,
That is a good point. My foundation (Soleil Foundation) would be willing to do that. We have developed a working relationship with Hopital St. Croix. Jack knows me personally. Katie is a good friend who worked with us on our last trip. If you want to handle the marketing of this effort, I can't take care of handling the money. We are a 501(3)(c) non-profit charity. Our mission is to provide education, health & nutrition to the children of Haiti. My headquarters is 2.5 miles from the hospital. Donations can be sent directly to our address here in the U.S. or via Paypal at our web site at SoleilFoundation.org. Hopital St. Croix has helped our foundation with its efforts, so I have no problem helping them. I would ask that all donations for the vehicle be earmarked as such, to make sure that they go to the proper fund. Let me know if
you would like to do this.
Sincerely,
Paul Cormier

Has anyone volunteered to manage the fund for HSC vehicle
replacement? I have $1500.00 ready to send, but need to know
where. What is needed is a US organization that has IRS recognition
as a non-profit so individuals who contribute can get a deduction on
their Income Tax.
