Re: [HPV Singles Seattle NW] Questions...Questions

Hello~
Yeas, I did know that the ones I had on my fingers were a strain of
HPV. I've heard that there are a lot of different kinds too. It's
pretty creepy, actually. We didn't have oral contact, just some
mutual masturbation type stuff, so hopefully I will be okay. It's
sad because he was the best sexual partner I ever had, but there's
no way in hell that I would have any kind of sex with him now. I
know that anyone I am with could have it, but knowing for sure that
he does gives me the willies. I have made a point, at my Dr's
suggestion, to notify any new partners that I had a partner who
developed it, and to get regular pap tests. He said he's never going
to have sex again, but from what I heard, he is, and on his own
admittal, he is not going to notify those he has been with about it.
I notified one girl I knew, but felt funny spreading his "business".
I didn't know what else to do but to empower her with the knowledge.
*oy vey*

100 strains of hpv and only about (i have heard) 15 or so strains
actually causes the genital warts your ex had. You can certainly
become infected by touching a wart, but as far as fluid
secretions.... i really don't know?!!

any discharge containing dna from your bf can infact infect you if
it does find a way into you body. If he gave you oral than you may
contract it, as well. There is such a thing as "Oral HPV WARTS! They
have the same symptoms as genital but inside your mouth and throat.
It is a fairly uncommon type but, i have heard that it is a very
painful kind and becoming more common. Only about 5 percent
actually get this kind. It is contracted via Oral sex. I really can
not answer your fluid question. Because as far as i know, you could
have had oral sex, not swallowed but still contracted it, or
just ...."wewww i touch the cum with my finger" kinda touch.? What
kind of contact did you have??? J
