Dear Si, I was very glad to receive the e-letter from you this
evening. Everyone in the group will be anxious to know more about
you so that we can share information with each other on a more
familiar personal basis. You will note that our membership consists
of some very interesting people. I am proud to be in this internet
association with each one of them. The center of our joint work is
for a suitable memorial for Mr.Hughes is the book: The Analytical
American History of the Life and Times of Howard Ronbard Hughhes.
The original work (l993-l999 edition) is being improved with
additional research information - and we wonder if you might have
material that might be used in the new, revised edition. You would
of course receive credit for any material that might be selected for
incorporation into the book. The book is a monumental work, to
consist of more than l000 pages, including illustrative material.
The book is a private publication, on private distribution listing,
limited up to now to select individuals and institutions (museums,
libraries and educational institutions).
Again I thank you for the interest that you have expressed and look
forward to hearing more from you soon!
Sincerely van j simmons gsimmons@...
