requesting issuance of a postage stamp commemorating Howard's
centennial birth date, Dec 5, 2005..
Design recommended: Only known pic of the Congressional Gold Medal
Awarded to HRH in 1939(frontispiece to Memorial book).
Alternate design is Bookcover "Analytical American History of the
Life and Times of Howard Robard Hughes, depicting Petroleum
technology developments by Howard's Hughes Tool Company; movies,
aviation developments through TWA, Hughes Aircraft Company, and the
Aerospace equipment[exploration developments; GLOMAR supership
construction and operations and face&obverse views of the
Congressional Gold Medal.(ISBN 0-615-11829-1 (1993-99).

Our good Friend Frank in Scotland inspired this effort by his
personally submitting a stamp request to the Postal authorities
in Washington. We THANK YOU FRANK!

Postal Authority waiver of usual 3 year advance time for issuance
