It is of great concern to me, in my research work, to
encounter unreasonable difficulyies in finding information
about characters who played primary major roles in the
howard hughes story. They held high positions in high level
National Defense work in Hughes companies-but little is known and can
be found about them. Howard is claimed to have been 'reclusive'
and afflicted with 'obsessive-compulsive behavior' syndrome,
but Henley(Marshall), Gay, Davis, Maheu, Jane Peters, Jack Real-
all are mysteriously misssing from media coverage reports.
I inquired at Tonopah County Nevada Court Records Office, and there
is no record of a marriage there between Howard Hughes and Jean
Peters.
Other writers have reported the same thing. The whole story of
Howard-Jean Peters meeting has several differing versions; her entry
into
the movies as a star at the beginning is far differently reported
than what I remember to have been the case. Nobody seems interested
in bringing up the Ramo-Wooldridge events affecting Hughes Aircrasft
Company. This is strange indeed because these men, reputedly
America's most Brilliant Scientists of the times when they were
employed in key Hughes Aircraft Company positions (and after their
resignation?? or dismissal?? from HAC. Ramo's book "The business of
Science" sheds a great deal of unmistakeable light on this.
And now, Mr Real comes out as being Howard's best bosom buddy,
while massive efforts were being exerted by "executives" to
take over ownership controls(!! of Howard's Privately owned
properties all over. Anybody thought to check up on the
Ramo-Wooldridge authored books of the time? If so I haven't heard
of it, so I checked up myself. Astounding results from which
conclusions ought to be drawn. I have definite impressions from
the writers' own words. If the impressions are rightly considered
WE ALL NEED TO KNOW ABOUT IT.

I appreciate hearing ALL well considered views and opinions, so long
as they aren't "way out of sight!" Howard was a REAL MAN, not a
demigod or psychedelic will o' the wisp.
