Here 'tis Sunday again and I missed the vote!

Don't expect my vote would have counted in this one
anyway. Seems to me the sponsors decided the outcome at the beginning
and now we'll have to live with their cherce of 'greatest

won't be there. Jesus, either. Nor VJS (me) to be sure.
The world will never be like I'd want it to be, apparently,
but I've got a hold on some great stuff and don't intend to
ever turn loose. My son John Stephen is my hope of the
future, wants to grow up to be a marine. I know how he feels
and hope against hope he doesn't find out how I felt when I
was a "boot" at Parris Island...We need Engineers and he's
good at math-straight A's in 6th grade. He's a CAP Cadet
and carries responsibility with great humor. He has studied
about Howard hughes and has formed his own opinions about
the man--greatest American of the 20th Century.
