Since the 1950s most writings about Howard Hughes have been of the
Sensational Slander type. Everything that the Man did has been
subjected to criticism and condemnation. Most people are too busy
making ends meet to give much time to analyzing the vitriolic
statements made by hate-inspired writers. But SOME people will
stand for what is right and oppose what is clearly wrong - and that is
what this Group 0f good people is doing. Howard Hughes was the major
contributor to 20th Century developments that made life better for a
great many people all over the world. The Hughes men made it
possible for petroleum energy sources to come into wide usage at
prices that ordinary people can still afford. His work in Air
Transportation made it possible for all of us -NOT JUST THE RICH - to
see the world. Accused of ONLY having flown the largest aircraft
ever built for only a mile at 70' - we see his critics complaining
that he didn't fly Hercules to China! Now hear this! Had he flown
it to China those same crummy squawkers would have complained that he
didn't fly the HK-1 to the moon! Well now-you (THEY) can't keep
a good man down, and Howard eventually did just that-he made it
possible for us to fly to the moon and safely return to earth! And
he didn't stop at that! He turned a desert wasteland into the major
world class tourist Mecca that Nevada now is. And much more.
Greed and jealous incompetent competitors in an evil conglomerate
corporate socialist conspiracy set out to destroy this man that they
couldn't beat. They failed-Howeard died a cruel death at their
hands, but his accomplishments survive and make the world a better
place for all of us to live in to this day. What have his ugly
detractors done for anybody including themselves? Dogs urinate
