Any who have read the diatribes and ravings of Communist Speakers
in the United States of the 1950's can only recall the experience with
horror at the brutal attacks made upon our finest people and
institutions. How can any sane person have harbored such blind
bitter hatred as was levelled against everything that Americanism was
and stood for? Did all of this go away with the Gorbachev dismantling
of the Berlin Wall and of Russian Communism itself? Or does it
continue unabated in a newly adopted guise designed to stupify free
people everywhere? There exists in the hearts of people a desperate
wondering about what the future holds! Has the answer to Abraham
Lincoln's question "Whether government of the people, by the people,
for the people shall survive or perisdh from the earth?
" been answered in the latter description-Perish? Forbid it Almighty
God! I know not what course others may take, but as for me, Give Me
Liberty or Give Me death! Patriots cheered Henry Clay's eloquent
defense of Liberty in his day. Who is there to take up the fallen
flag and restore it to Liberty's Highest Hill today? The whole world
needs such a voice and such a champion to lead it!
