Much discussion going on among HRH Afficionados concerning the subject
of wills by HRH. Many purported 'wills' surfaced following reported
death of HRH in April 1976. Entries pp136 TAAHOTL&TOHRH Apr 7 1976:
speculations HH died without leaving a will. Vigorous maneuvering by
numerous parties/individuals beginning major legal battles over
estate. His estate came under examination and challenge from
numerous sources. The value of Hughes Enterptrises variously
estimated. Author of book "Heir Not Apparent" set value extremely
low, no doubt reflecting reflection of residue after transfer
claims..Houston banks claimed huge sums (millions) from reported
recent contracted loans. The real value can be estimated from the
record of hughes Aiercraft Company alone, which had heldsome six
billions in government contracts over the past decade (1966-76).
An additional six billions came from CIA secret contracts over the
same period. On usual government cost + 10% basis this would amount
to minimum profits of $1,200,000,000 over the period.
A former Pentahgon official was quoted saying HRH was a genius in
understanding advanced scientific developments, ie, electro-optical
systems, infra red sensors and other sophisticated equipment with
undersea-to-outer spoace applications, and that resultant contracts
had served to make Hughes Aircraft Company a captive of the CIA.
Note: This 10-year time frame would go back to 1966, the year that
HRH was placed in seclusion/confinement in Las Vegas.
April 17 1976: Los angeles County CA Superior Court named Richard C
Gano Jr as Administrator of Hughes Estate in California.
Apr 23 1976: A New Gambling Commission assigned First National Bank
Nevada as Special Administrator of Hughes Estate in Nevada.
Apr 30 1976-Mormon Church officials reported 'mysterious' will dated
Mar 19 1968, on desk of Mormon Church Headquarters in Salt Lake
City; Noah Dietrich was named as Administrator in this 'will'.
May 2 1976: Harold Rhoden (Dietrich Attorney) stated: Inventory of
Hughes assets would require disclosing 'cloak and dagger' (CIA)
operations of the CIA of Hughes empire.
Jun 3 1976: 28 wills on file in Las Vegas, Nevada Now I a
ask you-Isn't this enough to curdle sweet milk, and muddy up the
waters quite a bit?
