This necessarily raises questions about intentions and willingness to
carry out the stated purpose of this gropup: work for establishment
of suitasble memorial to a great American. I never hear the title
challenged - but on the other hand what reports I do receive admit
the greatness of the man and his contributions - then in the next
breath, repititions of spurious rumors attributing qualities that no
truly great man could possess. Many people's vision cannot rise
above the level of the belly button as they embellish rubbish rumors
begun by questionable characters, and unquestionably contribute
slanderous allegations of their own.
This group shall not fold up tents and vanish. There are supporters
who will join the efforts for which the group was established. A
ballad had been composed, and preliminary script writing prepared that
shall put to shame al;l who fain would relegate HRH to a non-person
status. Names are being put on a special list in this matter, and
