I have have 2 dogs and 1 cat. They're like my children since I wasn't lucky
enough to have any of my own. I am however concerned that I am putting myself
at risk since I am car for and clean up after them myself. Can a HIV positive
person afford to have pets? Does any one have any info?
thanks in advance

Allen, first off, you need to be very careful if there is a dirty
cat box there. People with HIV are very suseptable to toxoplasmosis,
and it can be deadly.
Second, have you told your boyfriend you will leave?
And third, if you have decided to move, get hold of you local AIDS
bureau, you might have to wait awhile, but they usually have lists of
suitable housing.
Hope everything turns out for you
Cheers
