I am Daniel, an HIV+ artist living in Mesa, AZ. My artwork is mixed media
sculpture, painting and life casting. I also do photography, graphic design and

I need to inform you that my artwork takes on a very odd/non-mainstream/
"outsider art" stance, as well as an erotic nature. Seeing that there are people
in this group with kids, I have a warning/disclaimer on my site before you
enter the "adult content" gallery. I try to error on the side of disscression.

I have been poz for 5 years and have been doing art for a while now, mostly
for myself/gifts for people. Most techniques I use has been learned from
talking/working with other artists.

After seeing all the different art based groups on Yahoo, I decided to start a
local group for AZ artists. And now, I have started this group for poz/non-poz
artists.

My art has helped me express/deal with my frustrations and fears about being
poz. I hope this group will help others feel they are not alone.

All open discussions, styles of art, and mediums are excepted.

The main goal for Positive Energy Studio is to provide support for people
interested in meeting/working/sharing/doing online projects with other poz/
non-poz artists in a non-judgmental environment.

The "golden" rule that applies to this group is to be kind.

Bashing, flaming, SPAM, or undue rudeness WILL NOT be tolerated.

Please keep posting and pictures of artwork to a "PG-14" rating. If your post/
artwork has "adult content" (and we all know what that means), please email
me first.

We will have ATC (art trade card) projects, a mailing list for sending postcards
to other group members, and other projects to include "Round Robins" with a
blank art journals, and some other fun stuff.
