My name is Alejandra Cano, Hotline and Outreach
Manager for Project Inform, and I would like to introduce you to our toll-f=

HIV Treatment Hotline. If you don=E2=80=99t already know about the Hotline,=

take a moment to let you know more.
Since 1985, the Hotline has provided information
related to the health of people living with HIV. We focus on providing clea=
r,
confidential, trustworthy, non-judgmental information about HIV treatment a=
nd
access to health care for people living with HIV.
More than 56,000 new HIV infections occur each year
in the US, and one in four of those with HIV are not in care. Project Infor=
m
hopes to reach these individuals and others who may have questions about HI=
V.
Some examples of typical concerns that our Hotline can help with are:

they or a friend or family member is HIV-positive
=C2=B7 Clarify doubts about meds and understand
options related to an HIV diagnosis
=C2=B7 Side effects of the medicines
