San Diego Pozabilities is a good example of what Poz people can do with no
funding, the net and the phone. It is really just a group of guys who plan and
follow through with events from movie night to beach bon fires.
To keep people connected and to allow a non-theatening introduction to the group
we have a twice a week coffee hour at a local coffee house.
There are no dues and no membership roles. We keep in touch through
anouncements on a Yahoo Group and a monthly printed flyer of events. This can
work as a model for other places.
