Have been taking Kaletra for about six years, fist the softgel and then
the tablets.
If you take Kaletra as directed with food, you should be OK. If I skip
eating, and take it with coffee or plain water, it is a gamble whether
or not I will feel terribly nauseous and barfy. Just a small amount
like a half piece of toast is enough to keep me from feeling sick.
Another thing that my partner notices, but I don't, is a bad chemical
breath... Kaletra, in its liquid form is one of the most foul smelling
substances you can put in you. Chewing gum seems to be the only way to
cover this, as a mint only seems temporary.
I can't say there is much other effect based soley on the Kaletra, as
in general I feel rather achey and tired anyway.
