Histoplasmosis is an infection caused by a fungus called Histoplasma capsulatum and is commonly, though not always, found in people living in the valleys of the Ohio, Mississippi, Tennessee, Illinois, Missouri, and St. Lawrence rivers. This mailing list is here to provide information to the public about the condition, and also to give support to people who suffer from the complications of 'histo.'
