Alex, Sorry, can't paddle, as I'm leading a hike this morning Sat. 3-26-05 in
Montana de Oro... hope to hook up soon...

If anyone wanto to come to my hike they are welcome:

Our organized hikes are all listed at http://www.morrobaymuseum.org/adventures/

Tomorrow, Sat 3-26-05 I'm co-leading a hike up Coon Creek at Montana de Oro...
we leave at 9 AM... 3.25 hours ... please do join us. Wear long pants, as there
is some poison oak around.
26 Sat 9:00 am Hike Coon Creek Zehnder & Baird
Hike Coon Creek On this brisk hike get some good exercise with other
outdoor-loving companions. While exploring the riparian landscape along Coon
Creek, admire a variety of wild flowers, berries, shrubs, & trees. Meet in
Montaña de Oro State Park at the end of Pecho Road in the Coon Creek parking
lot. Bring water & snack, sturdy walking shoes. (*H) 6 mi., 3.5 hr.

You take the road to the very end ( way past the ranch house and Spooner's cove)
where you can't drive any further, and we will be there.

You can see Coon creek on the far south end where the black road ends in a
square dot.

There is a small chance we will walk the bluff trail instead of Coon Creek is
rain makes the trail bad, or anyone is really terrified of Poison Oak, or if we
all just want to look at the ocean if it is a sunny day. Bring a small snack,
plenty of water, and good hiking shoes - boots are best...
Hope you can make it.
