Sat., June 4, 9am-3pm "A Peak, a Creek, and a Bluff" led by  Wightman & Baird: Hike and shoot photos of the spectacular views of ocean, mountains, and oaks as we climb to Oat's Peak and reach the coastal bluffs via the lush riparian habitat of Coon Creek Trail. Hike back along the bluffs to our starting point. Bring lunch, water, binoculars, and camera.  Select photos submitted by participants afterwards will be posted online at http://docents.info/ . Hiking boots are necessary. Meet at the Visitor's Center, Montaña de Oro State Park. *Strenuous. 10 mi., 6 hrs.

Please join us on this aggressive hike. It is currently the longest hike being offered in the Adventures with Nature series - see http://www.morrobaymuseum.org/adventures/ for information on this and other hikes and walks in this series.  See http://morro-bay.com/outdoor/ for info. on many more other outdoor activities in the Morro Bay, CA area.

Norma Wightman is the lead docent, and Mike Baird is the sweep docent on this hike.
